Imagine book 7 hasn't been written yet. Which good character can convincingly be turned bad?
  • 02
As in a plot twist? Is Dumbledore evil now? It was the direction the book sort of took with his past but he was never painted as an evil person. Who would be the most surprising but most believable based on the previous 6 books?

AnonymousElephant86 2 days ago I thought for sure Dumbledore was going to end up a bad guy. For a fleeting instant, Harry thought he saw a gleam of something like triumph in Dumbledore's eyes.

I was OBSESSED with this specific line for years. I thought for sure it meant that he was happy Voldemort took Harry's blood bc it would help him (Voldemort) in some way. DH didn't come out for another what, 7 years after GoF was released? So I had to wait 7 years to finally understand what that line meant.

Somehow Arthur acquires a gin, k 'Is several d theaters but gets that feeling of power and tries to take over the ministry. His rampage is only stopped because he runs out of b 'lets and doesn't know where to get more.

they could keep tabs on him? This whole time they've been double agents, sticking by Harry's side and protecting him so that one day Voldemort can be the one to k. I him.

Ron didn't help Harry get past all of those traps because he wanted to help Harry retrieve the stone. He wanted to deliver him to Quirrelmort.

Ginny wasn't possessed by the diary. She was unleashing Slytherin's monster of her own will. Molly and Bill showed up at Hogwarts in Goblet of Fire to help make sure the plan to get Harry to touch the trophy came to fruition.

Charlie showed the dragons to Hagrid knowing that he would give Harry info. Arthur wasn't 'guarding' the Department of Mysteries - he was trying to retrieve the prophecy for Voldemort. The snake attack was a

Her deadly intention has nothing to do with Voldemort, but because her Great Great Grandfather was in product competition with Harry's ancestor, but the Sleekeazy brand won out over the "Pomfradorous" one.

bad as or worse than some Dath Eaters trying to fight (perceived) Evil. I can very much imagine him hunting down Snape in revenge for Dumbledore's dath (leaving the end of the war up to chance,

basically), or tor ring Bellatrix, just not treating them as human anymore. He has the magical potential with the "right" motivation...

HaggisPope 2 days ago Hagrid as the anti-Snape. After all, he knew Tom Riddle at school and often messes il in ways profitable to the doth eaters. There was that whole Darth Hagrid fan theory a couple years back that I found irresistibly funny

ngfsmg. 2 days ago I remember reading some internet article written before the book was released that said McGonagall was actually evil. The guy also (in this case correctly) sensed Snape wasn't on Voldemort's side, and that like he was the "good Slytherin", she would be the "bad Gryffindor"

BadKidOh 2 days ago Hogwarts Ghost Well for convincing/surprising I'd go with Harry. Perhaps have the soul shard that's been in his body since 1981 merge with or take over Harry.

Maybe have the soul shard get the boost of strength it needs to merge with or take over Harry form the necklaces-soul shard.
